A 62-year-old woman from Molovata, Dubasari died from carbon monoxide poisoning in a fire on March 8. Antifire service inspector Alexandru Ursu has told Info-Prim Neo that the rules of using the stove were violated. It seems that the woman did not cover the stove and red-hot coals fell on the floor, from which the fire started. The victim was found lying on the floor. She did not have burns on the body. The woman lived together with her son, who is working abroad. The firefighters were called by neighbors, who saw smoke coming out. They said they saw the woman earlier the same day. She visited them and wished them a happy and pleasant March 8. She was also visited by villagers. According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the 463 fires that happened in Moldova so far this year resulted in 52 deaths. Three of the victims were children.
