Woman going to work dies in road accident

A bus conveying workers from three villages to Chisinau has overturned and ended up in a ditch on the Dubasari-Chisinau road, not far from Zaicana village of Criuleni district, this morning. There were about 50 persons in the bus. A female passenger has died. Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Maria Shamatailo has told Info-Prim Neo that the injured persons were taken to the hospital by cars passing by. Thirty-one persons were admitted to the Chisinau Emergency Hospital, the institution’s deputy head Liviu Vovc has said. Five of them were taken to the reanimatology section, while another five underwent operations. A pregnant woman was transferred to the Mother and Child Center. Most of those injured suffered cranial-cerebral traumas and arm and leg fractures.
