A 56 year old woman from Goienii Noi village in Chisinau Municipality was found dead on the street. Last night, January 1, she went to visit her neighbors, but died on her way home.
Prosecution officer Eugen Taicenco told IPN that the body didn't show any signs of violent death. It's supposed that the cause of death is hypothermia. Most likely, she fell down and nobody was around to help her.
Some passers-by saw her early in the morning and called an ambulance but it was too late already.
