Woman falls from second floor of apartment building

A woman was rushed to the Emergency Hospital with serious traumas that she received when falling from height. Eufalia Negreata, coordinating doctor at he Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 52-year-old woman fell from the second floor of an apartment building located in Botanica district. The ambulance crew established that the woman suffered a concussion and a closed trauma of the abdomen. An investigation is under way. A woman gave birth to the fifth child in her house in Colonita village. The mother and baby girl were taken to the maternity hospital. A child born prematurely at home by a 16-year-old woman died before the arrival of the ambulance. The young mother came to Chisinau from Floresti district. Two men aged 50 were found on the street in Botanica district in an alcoholic coma at different hours. Both of them were admitted into Saint Trinity Hospital for detox. A 23-year-old man got poisoned with mushrooms prepared at home. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service dealt with 783 calls, including 64 cases of trauma, 23 deliveries and four strokes.
