A woman aged 64 was rushed to the hospital with different injuries she suffered when falling onto the first-floor awning from the fifth floor of an apartment building in Soroca town last night. Rescuers were called out to the scene.
The General Inspectorate for Emergencies said the first investigations showed the woman decided to pass from one balcony to another and failed to keep a balance. The rescuers took the women down and she was taken to the district hospital with polytrauma.
Sources in the Soroca District Hospital have told IPN that the woman was admitted to the Traumatology Unit and she is now out of danger.
An investigation is underway.
