A woman is liable to 7 to 12 years' imprisonment for theft. She is suspected of stealing property of 250,000 lei from the house where she did the cleaning, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the General Police Commissariat, the woman came to Chisinau from Pervomaiscoe village of Hancesti district and started to work for a family living in Rascani district. On May 29, unidentified persons entered the house and stole golden, silver and platinum jewelry, precious stones and coral to the value of €9,300, a gold and silver icon of Saint Marry worth €4,000 and plates and dishes of €2,700. The woman was the prime suspect. She was arrested the same day. She had some of the stolen things on her and intended to leave for Ukraine.
