Woman dies on stairs of medical center

A woman perished on the stairs of a medical center in Botanica district when going to see a doctor. Silvia Babara, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the woman wanted to consult an otorhinolaryngologist, but did not manage to see him. The ambulance team's efforts to resuscitate her failed. Preliminary examinations showed the woman suffered from a cardiovascular disease. A woman aged 89 was discovered dead in her house by the social worker looking after her. An intoxicated man of about 25 was found on the street. He did not know his name and where he lived. He was taken to Saint Trinity Hospital. A girl aged 15 and a boy aged 17 were rushed to the hospital after they tried to kill themselves by taking pills. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau ambulances traveled to 778 addresses, dealing with 63 cases of acute viral infection, five cases of flu, 64 cases of trauma, three strokes and one myocardial infarction.
