A woman aged 47 and her 25-year-old son were arrested on suspicion that they killed the woman’s live-in partner. The police said the two buried the body in the backyard of the house they rented in Drăsliceni commune of Criuleni district, IPN reports.
The family had lived in that house in Drăsliceni for six months. In January, as a result of a conflict between the partners, the woman and her son kicked and punched the man and then tied him up and left him lying. The next day the suspects took the body to the cellar and left it there for several days. They later buried it in the backyard.
The woman and her son, who are from Râșcani district, admitted their guilt. The two face 15 to 20 years in jail or life for deliberate murder.
