A pack of wolves attacked a flock of sheep in Tomai village of Ceadar-Lunga district. According to the local press, three sheep and a goat were killed, IPN reports.
The sheep are owned by a local. It is assumed that the wolves attacked the sheep while they were crossing Moldova as there are practically no wolves on the country’s territory and these are included in the Red Book.
However, there are enough jackals in Moldova and the animals could have been attacked by these.
