Winter traditions and carols in central Chisinau

The Christmas program in central Chisinau will start today, December 25, with a performance of carols at 14.00. A concert involving national music stars will begin in the Great National Assembly Square at 17.30, the head of the Chisinau City Hall’s Culture Division Lucia Culev has told Info-Prim Neo. According to Lucia Culev, the program “Be Healthy, Be Wealthy” will include the Gala of the Winter Traditions Festival themed “Lilly-White Flowers”, where there will be awarded the best youth and adult artistic groups. The Chisinau administration will organize artistic activities on December 26 as well. In the evening, the band “Zdop si Zdup” will give a recital in the central square. The cultural events on New Year’s Eve in Chisinau are traditionally organized by the Government and the Ministry of Culture.
