Twenty-five fifth- twelfth graders of secondary and extra-school education intuitions of Chisinau municipality were chosen as winners of the Municipal Photography Contest for students that was staged in September on the occasion of the 582th anniversary of the foundation of Chisinau. The ceremony to award the winners of the contest organized by the General Division of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport was held on October 19, IPN reports.
The contest was held in two sections: “School in my life and my life at school” and “Chisinau in my life and my life in Chisinau”. The contest involved over 100 works.
Ten students who won the third place received by 600 lei, seven students who ranked second got by 800 lei, while six students who won the top prize received by 1,000 lei. The Public Sympathy Prize of 1,200 lei went to two students.
The contest was aimed at encouraging the students with artistic abilities and developing the children’s imagination, emotive sensibility and ethnic taste of children and love for school and for Chisinau.
