Winners of Golden Voices 2010 announced

The winners of the international song contest Golden Voices 2010 became known. By three competitors shared the three main prizes, but nobody won the Top Prize, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The first prize went to Victoria Evtodienko from Moldova, Dessy Dobreva from Bulgaria and Teona Dol’nikova from Russia
The second prize was awarded to Italy's Guerino Papa, Israel's Anastasia Kozakova and Poland's Sebastian Plewinski, while the third prize – to Andrei Kolosov from Belarus, Ketta from the UK and Ruslanas from Lithuania.
Twenty-one singers from 17 countries took part in the contest. At the first stage on March 8, the participants sang songs in the language of the country from which they come from, while the second day – foreign songs. The special invitee In-Grid gave a recital at the end of the contest.
Moldova was represented by Victoria Evtodienko, who won the first prize, Nicoleta Nuca and Andrei Stefanet. The latter won the MuzTV prize, while Nicoleta Nuca – the special prize of the associations of festivals.
Tina Notte from Latvia, Denis Vershenko from Belarus and Yulia Rutskaya from Kyrgyzstan received participation diplomas, Emin Hasan from Azerbaijan – the public sympathy prize, Croatia's Andja Marich – the original image prize, while Moldovan singer Catalin Josan, who represented Romania in the contest – the prize for innovative character. There were also awarded other special prizes.
The contest was held for the first time in 2003. Initially, it was named The Elate Star and was a festival for national young singers. Later it became international and was renamed Golden Voices.
The festival was held under the auspices of the Chisinau City Hall and the Ministry of Culture.
