Winners of contest for Luceafarul Theatre reconstruction project have been named

President of Moldova Vladimir Voronin has handed diplomas to the winners of the designing contest “Reconstruction of Luceafarul Theatre”, launched by the head of state. All the winners are the students of the Technical University of Moldova. The winner of the contest is Reghina Ivanenco, the 1st and 2nd degree diplomas were offered to Artur Bordeanu and Alexandru Novicov respectively. The winners were given MDL 30 thousand, MDL 20 thousand and MDL 10 thousand. The other two participants, Sergiu Mandrescu and Ludmila Postolachi were offered honourable mentions. The idea to start a contest and involve the students of Urbanism and Architecture Faculty of the Technical University in working out projects of the capital reconstruction of “Luceafarul” Theatre was launched by the President in December 2006, after visiting the cultural institution for documentation.
