Winner of rainwater drainage tender to be announced next week

Next week, the Municipality will announce the company to clean city’s rainwater drainage system. Mariana Damian, who is in charge of the project, told Info-Prim Neo that four companies submitted bids, and the offer packages were opened on Friday. Chisinau City Hall extended the registration window by two weeks, as initially there was only one bidder: the municipal enterprise “Edilitate”. The project, launched by the local authorities and funded by the EU, will take place in two stages. The first will involve cleaning the channels in the most vulnerable areas: the Railway Station Square, the streets Haltei and Tabacaria Veche. Next, a water collector will be built near the Railway Station. The total budget is € 731,000.
