Winds of up to 20 m/s expected Friday

Western winds of up to 15-20 m/s were forecast in most parts of the country for January 4. A yellow code warning for high winds was issued for Friday, Info-Prim Neo reports. There will be ice on roads during January 1-4. The ice forming process on rivers, lakes and ponds will weaken until January 5 and the formed ice bridges will be gradually destroyed. The average temperature will vary between 2 and 5 degrees Celsius. Sleet is expected all over the country on Friday and Saturday, while on Sunday and Monday it will snow.
