Who will represent bloc ACUM in Parliament

The electoral bloc ACUM in the parliamentary elections of February 24 won 26 seats of MP, 12 of which in single-member constituencies, according to the preliminary results presented by the Central Election Commission. Among those who entered Parliament are the bloc’s co-presidents, Maia Sandu and Andrei Năstase, IPN reports.

The electoral bloc ACUM won victories in 12 single-member constituencies: Maria Ciobanu (No.14), Lilian Carp (No.21), Liviu Vovc (No.22), Inga Grigoriu (No.25), Iurie Reniță (No.26), Vladimir Bolea (No.27), Dan Perciun (No.30), Mihail Popșoi (No.32), Andrei Năstase (No.33), Petru Frunze (No.37), Maia Sandu (No.50) and Dumitru Alaiba (No.51).

According to the party list, seats of MP will also be held by the vice president of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform”  (PPPDA) Alexandru Slusari, secretary general of the Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS) Igor Grosu, former ambassador Igor Munteanu, ex-minister of youth and sport Octavian Țîcu, ex-deputy minister of education Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei, PAS jurist Sergiu Litvinenko, PPPDA secretary general Kiril Moțpan, president of the PPPDA youth organization Dinu Plângău, political analyst  Oazu Nantoi as well as Radu Marian, Doina Gherman, Arina Spătaru, Veronica Roșca and Stela Macari.

The preliminary results, with 100% of the votes cast in the February 24 elections being counted, show the Party of Socialists gained 35 seats of MP, 17 of which in single-member constituencies. The Democratic Party won 30 seats, 17 of which in single-member constituencies. The electoral bloc ACUM Platform DA and PAS obtained 26 seats, 12 of which in single-member constituencies, while the Shor Party – seven seats, two of which in constituencies.

The turnout at last Sunday’s elections was 49,22%, which is 1 453 013 voters.
