“Who is Spielberg?” project ends with screening of 20 short movies

The creative and short film project “Who is Spielberg?” closes today, June 14, with the showing of 20 movies made within this two-month project at the “Gaudeamus” Cultural Center, Info-Prim Neo reports. Vasile Mudrenco, manager of the public organization Intercultural Social Center, said the project’s theme was “Discover a filmmaker in you” and aimed to identify teams of young producers of movies and commercials. The project involved 150 persons, including students, professional and amateur filmmakers, who formed 25 teams. The productions last for 3-4 minutes each and focus on principles, values and morals of Moldovan society and the good and evil in people. The jury consists of four persons, who are film directors, operators and bloggers. There will be awarded prizes for the best movie, the best actor, the best script, the best operator and the best sound. The project “Who is Spielberg?” was implemented by the “Gaudeamus” Cultural Center in cooperation with the Intercultural Social Center of Moldova. The screening starts at 18.30. Entrance is free of charge.
