The Romanian and foreign citizens who are on Moldova’s territory and intend to travel to Romania can ask for the temporary suspension of the quarantine by email too, addressing the local County Centers for Coordination and Management of Interventions. Before making such a request, the foreigners must make sure that they fall under the exceptions from the ban on entry to Romania, IPN reports.
According to Romania’s Embassy in Moldova, the procedure for asking for the suspension of the quarantine measure in Romania is valid only for situations that do not form part of the exceptions from quarantine stipulated in the July 21 Decision taken by the National Committee for Emergency Situations, article 3. The citizens who fall under these exceptions must make no other additional approach.
Consequently, the procedure is applied only: in special situations that refer to the participation in family events related to birth, marriage or death; trips for having surgery or medical treatment in cases that cannot be put off, renewal of identification papers, leaving of the country, etc. The suspension of quarantine can be also examined based on justificatory documents.
