Over 100 Moldovan public health facilities – primary medical assistance and specialized ambulatory care institutions - received computers purchased by the World Health Organization (WHO) with financial support from USAID Moldova, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Health said that owing to this equipment, the system for monitoring and reporting on vaccination against COVID-19 and flu and the capacities of vaccination offices of public health facilities will be strengthened.

The use of modern computers will enable to furnish reports in real time, with exact data about the administered vaccine doses. The computers will also facilitate the use of the health system’s information systems, noted the institution.

The total cost of the lot of 400 computers is US$258, 800.
