Wedding guests in Dubasarii Vechi got poisoned by inadequately prepared food

The people that got poisoned at a wedding reception in Dubasarii Vechi village of Criuleni district last week consumed food made at home by not observing the preparation technology, Info-Prim reports, quoting the National Scientific Practical Center of Preventive Medicine, which conducted an investigation. The epidemiologists also determined that the food was conveyed to the festivity hall by unauthorized units of transport by violating the transportation and keeping conditions for easily alterable food products. The 18 persons that prepared the food did not take medical examination and were not familiar with the sanitary norms. Out of the 127 wedding party invitees, 36 have been taken to the infectious diseases section of the Criuleni district hospital, 6 to a hospital in the municipality of Chisinau and one to the hospital of Straseni town. They have been diagnosed with food poisoning.
