Weapons and ammo discovered in Security Zone

Since the beginning of this year, 350 units of weapons and ammo from the Second World War period were found within the Moldovan Security Zone, reports Info-Prim Neo, quoting Transnistrian press. Thus, ammo was found, which had stayed underground for over 70 years, being to danger to the citizens. Among the objects found were two bombs, 6 various caliber artillery shells, 13 mortars, 4 23mm projectiles, 2 anti-tank mines and 7 anti-personnel mines, 13 grenades and 277 shells of various calibers. Throughout the entire period of the peacekeeping mission on the Nistru banks, over 40,000 units of weapons and ammo have been found and destroyed.
