Waters heading for Crocmaz village

The water spilled over the dam protecting the village of Crocmaz in Stefan-Voda district. A press release of the Defense Ministry reads that 130 military are digging a channel to prevent the water from flooding households, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the Prut and Nistru rivers, the water level is gradually rising in the country's center and south, as the floods are still threatening. The most affected locality in Stefan-Voda is Purcari. 65 households are flooded there, as 15 houses have already crushed. The local authorities from a number of districts, alarmed about the rising water, have asked for the support of the Army, as soldiers strengthened the protection dam near the village of Barboieni, Nisporeni district, installing 300 sand sacks and the dam protecting Tudora, Stefan-Voda. The water is decreasing in the country's north. The water level in the area of the Vadul-lui-Voda pump has got down 81 cm.
