The water pipeline on the section of Korolenko St up to Testemițanu St has been renovated. The D-400mm ductile cast iron pipe was repaired on a distance of about 400 meters. SA “Apă-Canal Chișinău” said that together with the completion of the renovation works, the consumers in this area will be supplied with high-quality services, IPN reports.
“No accidents will now occur in the water pipeline going along Vladimir Korolenko St now that the pipeline repair works were finished, being executed with the financial support of the Chisinau City Hall,” the water supplier noted in a press release.
The works started at the end of July and were performed by a private company with which SA “Apă-Canal Chișinău” signed a contract. They were completed on time and the consumers in the area will now benefit from high-quality services. Moreover, the paving was repaired and the sidewalks and green areas were rehabilitated after the works were finished.
According to SA “Apă-Canal Chișinău”, the old water pipeline dated from 1968 and was worn-out.
