The National Patrolling Inspectorate warns the traffic participants to take into account the weather forecasts and not to go on long trips if there is no emergency. Difficult weather conditions are expected in Moldova on January 25-27. Snow will fall in parts and ice will form on the roads. Nighttime temperatures will fall to minus 20 degrees Celsius, IPN reports.
If a trip is necessary, the vehicle must be equipped with tires for winter and with sand and a shovel as well as with a thermos with hot tea or milk, blankets and medicines.
In the period, the National Patrolling Inspectorate will work in a state of alert.
