The National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) warns that it does not contact beneficiaries by phone to ask for bank details. The payment of social benefits is made exclusively through the government e-payment gateway MPay, without the need to provide bank card information, IPN reports.

The CNAS said that those who are called and asked to give bank details or other confidential information must immediately contact the competent authorities to report the incident.

"Be careful and treat with caution any telephone request related to your financial or personal data," urged the National House of Social Insurance.
