A Turkish man put on the wanted list by the police in Turkey was arrested in Chisinau. He was sentenced to imprisonment for trafficking in persons. The man is to be extradited to Turkey, IPN reports.
According to the Migration and Asylum Bureau, the foreigner was placed under arrested for 72 hours. He will be held at the Remand Center. The materials on this case were sent to the Prosecutor General’s Office, which is to initiate the extradition procedure.
