Voters will be able to obtain voting certificates on referendum day as well

The document issuing sections will work on Sunday, September 5, when the constitutional referendum will take place. Such a decision was taken with the aim of enabling all the persons eligible to vote to take part in the plebiscite, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology. The working group responsible for the provision of the necessary assistance and the local document issuing subdivisions of the State Information Resource Center “Registru” will work from 7 am to 9pm. The people will be able to swiftly obtain temporary identification papers and will be issued with the validated identification papers applied for earlier. From August 28, the Moldovans eligible to vote who hold invalid identification papers or lost them are issued with temporary identity cards during two months free of charge.
