In the presidential runoff on November 15, the voters will also be offered a free mask when entering the polling station so as to cast their ballots in maximally safe conditions, IPN reports, quoting the Central Election Commission (CEC).
The CEC noted that it was decided to provide the polling stations with more masks so as to supplement the supplies of these, in accordance with the voter turnout at the November 1 elections.
For the out-of-country polling stations, the protective face masks will be purchased in the host country or by any other method identified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
According to the CEC, in the first round of voting there were reported no instances of shortage of protective masks intended for voters.
