Voters claim they cannot find themselves on voter lists

Most of the calls to the hotline about electoral information and consulting received from voters today refer to the fact that they are not on the voter lists, Info-Prim Neo reports. The hotline is launched within the Civic Coalition for Free and Fair Elections – Coalition 2009. A large part of calls come from people worrying about the fact that people working abroad are on the list, as someone else could vote instead of them, said jurist Galina Bostan, an operator with the hotline. Several people warned that, although having duly informed the authorities on their new residence, they were not included into the list. Five minors were found on a voter list in Chisinau. The irregularities can be notified by dialing – 080055000. The information goes to the League for the Defense of Human Right (LADOM), which then sends envoys to check up the situation on the field.
