Voters can inform themselves about local elections through CEC’s Call Center

The citizens who are eligible to vote can obtain information about the local general elections of November 5 by calling the Central Election Commission’s Call Center on (+373) 22 880101. The Center will function until November 21, IPN reports.

The voters can inquiry about the polling station where they can vote, voting procedure, documents with which they can vote, about the domicile or residence in a territorial-administrative unit, etc.

The Call Center’s operators will provide assistance to persons in charge of the management of the electoral rolls within the local public authorities and to members of lower electoral bodies through the uniform application of procedures for managing and updating the State Register of Voters.

The Call Center will work from Monday through Friday, between 8am and 5pm. During September 5-7 and November 19-21, the work program will be extended to 24 hours a day.

The Center can be contacted at ordinary charges from landline or mobile phone from any locality of the Republic of Moldova.
