Voter turnout at the referendum in Chisinau at 9:50am stood at 2.16%, which is 13,581 electors, IPN reports.
In a press briefing, deputy head of the Chisinau District Electoral Council Vitalie Miron said the voters in Botanica district are the most active ones. The voter turnout there was 2.82%. The turnout in Rascani district was 2.54%, in Centru district 2.23%, in Buiucani district 2.11%, while in Ciocana district 1.92%.
As to the suburbs, the lowest turnout was reported in Cruzesti commune (0.07%), while the highest one in Sangera (3.69%).
Polling places work in a normal regime and there were no incidents, stated Vitalie Miron.
