Voter turnout at 18.30 was about 46%

The turnout of voters in the June 5 local elections at 18.30 was 45.78%. 45.81% of the electors voted in the municipality of Chisinau, the Central Election Commission has said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The highest turnout was in Basarabeasca district – 56.07%. In Donduseni, the turnout was 56.84%, in Ocnita – 54.97%, in Telenesti – 52.43%, while in Nisporeni – 51.93%.
Only 34.77% of the voters cast their ballots in Balti. The turnout in Anenii Noi was also low -40.54%. In Cahul it was 41.46%.
The inhabitants of Buiucani district were the most active voters in Chisinau. 46.79% of the voters marked their ballots there. In Botanica district, the turnout was 46.03%, in Centru – 45.81%, in Rascani – 45.47%, while in Ciocana – 42.46%.
