Over 230,000 voters marked their ballots by 10am. In the first round of voting, about 300,000 electors voted by the same hour, IPN reports.

According to the president of the Central Election Commission Alina Russu, the men vote more actively than the women. The voters in Rezina district are the most active, while those in Nisporeni district are the most passive. The electors aged between 56 and 70 vote most actively, while those aged between 18 and 25 and over 71 vote most passively, as in the first round of elections.

Alina Russu said all the opened polling places work normally and there were reported no deviations.
