The access of the PCRM's observers to the November 28 early legislative elections was limited, while the ballots with votes in favor of the Communists were put in the pile of ballots with votes in favor of the Liberal-Democrats. The accusations were made by representatives of the PCRM in a hearing at the Constitutional Court, which centered on the Communists' demand to order a vote recount. The Central Election Commission (CEC) denies the accusations, Info-Prim Neo reports. The representatives of the PCRM said they cannot bring proofs from polling places, but are convinced that calculation mistakes were made all over the country and there was multiple voting. The Communists Party's jurist Sergiu Sarbu believes the vote recount will bring the PCRM about 1% of the votes more. CEC president Eugeniu Stirbu said no errors were made when counting the votes. The recounting of the votes at the 184 polling places where the PCRM claims were committed mistakes will not change the election outcome. “Human errors are possible at any stage, but this cannot change the final election results,” Stirbu said. In its application to the Constitutional Court, the PCRM annexed over 200 proofs that, according to the party, confirm the illegality of the November 28 elections. When the news story was published (12.15), the hearing was going on. On December 16, the Constitutional Court is to examine the CEC's report on the election outcome and validate the seats of MP.
