A new annular water supply system was made available in Bâc village of the municipality of Chisinau. The D-200 mm polyethylene pipe has a length of 300 meters. According to SA “Apă-Canal Chisinau” (ACC), owing to this pipe, the volume of water supplied to consumers in Bâc village and in Bubuieci commune will increase considerably and the water pressure will be stable, IPN reports.

According to the supplier, the pipes are resistant to impact, rupture and wear and tear. The installation costs are lower and fissures are not propagated, while the hydraulic capacity is great.

“The locals are satisfied with the performed renovation works and say that together with the use of the networks, the water in the area will be of a higher quality and the pressure of water will be stable and there will be no accidents. They hope the water pipes on other streets of Bâc village will also be renovated. The pipe was laid in a record period of time with the involvement of representatives of the Bâc mayor’s office. Also, owing to the contribution and support of ACC specialists, the works were carried out according to the relevant standards and norms,” the water supplier said in a press release.

When the works were completed, the area was laid out with gravel by representatives of the local public authorities.

According to the supplier, in concert with representatives of the local public authorities of Bubuieci, solutions aimed at improving the infrastructure and developing the water supply networks are constantly implemented at the local level.
