“Vocea Basarabiei” Radio station celebrates 6 years of activity

Hundreds of listeners of the “Vocea Basarabiei” radio station, journalists, political personalities and opinion leaders of the Republic of Moldova paid a visit on June 18 to the headquarters of the radio station in Chisinau or congratulated the employees of Vocea Basrabiei via telephone on the occasion of its 6th “birthday”. On this day, the radio station organized an “open doors and open microphone day”. Veaceslav Tabuleac, the head of the radio station, declared for Info-Prim Neo that despite all the obstacles and problems that appeared during these 6 years, Vocea Basarabiei resisted, grew and developed. In short-time, till the end of the next week, two frequencies in the Northern part of Moldova - Glodeni and Drochia will start functioning, which will cover the whole region, including the most important administrative center, Balti municipality, Tabuleac said. He mentioned that after this, the coverage area of the radio station “Vocea Basarabiei” will reach 70%. As well, he mentioned that till the end of 2006, the frequencies in Soroca, Taraclia and Stefan Voda will be activated. The head of VB said that by its activity, the radio station tries to fit the demands of all listeners’ categories. The post broadcasts political, economical, society, health and other programs. “At present less programs for youth are broadcasted, but we will try in the shortest time to cover this lack”, Tabuleac mentioned.
