The woman director of the Vocational School No. 2 of Chisinau was discharged from post by an order of the Ministry of Education. According to the Ministry, the school’s administration committed a number of irregularities in the management of the institution. In particular, it misused the special financial resources and didn’t respect the legislation on the formation of incomes coming from the students’ production practice and their accommodation in the dorm, IPN reports.
As a result of inspections, it was established that the director abused her position for personal or other interests. She was asked to provide explanations over the accusations in written form. After the presented explanations were examined, it was determined that the accusations remained valid and there is evidence showing that the labor discipline was violated.
Contacted by IPN’s reporter, employees of the Vocational School No. 2 said the institution’s director is on sick leave and an acting director there was named on September 2.
