The leader of the Party of Communists (PCRM) Vladimir Voronin said he has a plan for taking the country out of captivity and made it clear that this would be a velvet revolution. He made such statements in the program “Politics” on TV 7 channel, IPN reports.
“Does a revolution suit you? The people are those who should get free from this captivity,” said the Communists’ leader.
Vladimir Voronin noted that he does not support candidate for Prime Minister Ion Sturza or the possible candidate Vlad Plahotniuc. “We didn’t discuss these candidates inside the party. I think it is now more important to form a parliamentary coalition,” said the chairman of the PCRM.
Vladimir Voronin harshly criticized the 14 MPs who left the PCRM, but does not rule out the possibility that these were manipulated. “They are all traitors. In the evening we spoke about common plans for the future of the PCRM and the next day they left the party. But it’s known that Sergiu Sarbu and Marian Lupu are those who discussed with these and convinced them. One of the 14 was blackmailed over some family issues. Ultimately they were persuaded by the one who needed this,” he stated.
