The leader of the Party of Communists Vladimir Voronin said he does not have confidence in any of the candidates running for the mayoralty because these are not able to cope with things and to meet the expectations of the residents of Chisinau, but the people from Chisinau should also not have great expectations if they became victims of promises and influences. “I just voted as a citizen of the Republic of Moldova,” Vladimir Voronin said when he went out of the polling place, IPN reports.

“I think this time there will be problems with all of those who will return to the local public administration all over Moldova. I have never seen such corruption and pressure on voters. It’s clear that those who stole the billion of euros afford to buy the voters and we should ask ourselves what’s next,” said Vladimir Voronin, saying it’s a pity that the voters yielded to the influence.

The Communist leader noted that he does not have great expectations of these elections given the situation in the country.
