Two plots of land and a house with orchard in Parata village in Dubasari district, an apartment that occupies over 232 square meters in Chisinau, two cars - Vaz 21-214 and M-20 (Pobeda), a motor scooter Yamaha are President Vladimir Voronin’s property assessed at about 2.2 million lei. The president also has a shareholding worth roughly 7 million lei in Banca de Finante si Comert SA. These data are contained in the head of state’s declaration of income made public by the Central Control Commission (CCC) together with the statements of income and property of other dignitaries, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from CCC, the richest Member of Parliament is the leader of the Christian Democratic People’s Party and Deputy Speaker Iurie Rosca, who owns property worth about 1.3 million lei and shares in Prag-3, Flux, AP Flux, Christian Country and Foundation. The property of another Deputy Speaker Maria Postoico represents about half of Rosca’s property. The Head of Parliament Marian Lupu owns two apartments and a Mercedes car valued at 151,000 lei. MP Anatol Taranu owns property assessed at 1.11 million lei. Eugenia Ostapciuc’s property includes a plot of land 1,063 square meters in area located in Chisinau, an apartment and a villa in Criuleni worth 76,000 lei overall. Stela Gherman is the “poorest” MP with property valued at only 10,000 lei. Alim Afonin owns property worth 14,000 lei, Dumitru Todoroglo – 15,000 lei, Ecaterina Gavlac – 16,000 lei, Nicolae Bondarciuc - 28,500 lei (two apartments and a garage), Eva Gudumac – 30,000 lei, Arcadii Pasecinic and Mihail Sidorov – by 50,000 lei each. Vadim Misin’s plot of land, the apartment that is 155 square meters in area, the villa occupying 140 square meters and the garage, all located in Chisinau, are assessed at 114,000 lei. MP Vasile Iovv owns property worth 360,000 lei that includes two plots of land and two villas in Parata village in Dubasari district and in Balti municipality respectively, two apartments over 130 square meters in area in Chisinau and an apartment occupying 51 square meters in Moscow. The richest member of the Government is the Minister of Defense Vitalie Vrabie, who owns property worth about 2 million lei. Prime Minister Zinaida Greceanyi has a plot of land and a house occupying 285 square meters valued at 1.232 million lei. The former Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev owns property worth 166,000 lei that includes a plot of land 1,080 square meters in area, a house that occupies 521 square meters, two plots of land and a villa 106 square meters in area located in Hruseva village in Criuleni district. At the end of the communiqué, the Central Control Commission says that the value of the property is calculated on the basis of the cost indicated in the document that shows its origin and does not represent the market value.
