Vladimir Voronin is for identifying new instruments to encourage of de-estate the objects of the public patrimony, for their better management, on one hand, and to ensure an efficient control on behalf of the privatisation Agency over the respect of contract obligations. The head of the state announced about this on Wednesday, 15 March, during the meeting dedicated to privatisation and management state patrimony problems. Participants at the meeting mentioned the necessity to improve the mechanism of state representation in enterprises, of the recording system of the state property, as well as of the better management of the share-parts of the state in enterprises, buildings or lands. It was proposed to draft, for 2007, of a new conception, and on its base of a new law on privatisation, adjusted to new internal and external social-economic realities, especially to the situation noted on capital market. Vladimir Voronin mentioned that next privatisation program has to show the firm commitment of Moldova to market reform. „The new program has to contribute to strengthening of a viable economy, based on competence and transparency, opening to investments and, in the same time, to comply with strategic interests of the country in the area of economic and social security,” the head of the state noted. The prime deputy prime minister Zinaida Greceanai, minister of economics and commerce Valeriu Lazar, manager of the privatisation agency by the ministry of economics and commerce Cornelia Cozlovschi and presidential advisor in economic issues, Oleg Reidman attended the meeting. State privatisation program for 1997-1998 was previously prolonged till 31 December 2006.
