Former President of Moldova Vladimir Voronin tops the Party of Communists’ list of candidates for the parliamentary elections of February 24, 2019. Even if the Central Election Commission registered the party as an electoral contender several days ago, the PCRM published the list only today, January 4, IPN reports.
The other candidates on the list come in alphabetic order. Among them are the current MPs of the PCRM: Elena Bodnarenko – third; Alla Mironic – 30th, Maria Postoiko – 38th, Oleg Reidman – 40th and Inna Şupac – 46th. The head of the Communist parliamentary group’s staff Nicolai Rusol takes the 43rd position on the list.
According to the preliminary order, the PCRM will be under No. 3 on the ballot. The party was also registered as a participant in the national consultative referendum that pleads “Against”.
