Vladimir Voronin had a working meeting with Vladimir Putin

President of Moldova Vladimir Voronin had a working visit with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, on Friday, June 22, at the Russian president’s residence outside Moscow. According to a communiqué from the Moldovan presidential press service, the two heads of state have examined in detail the entire spectrum of bilateral relations, from joint projects in the areas of energy and agro-industry to special investment programmes implemented by Russia in Moldova. Particular attention was paid to the recently launched process of resuming exports of Moldovan wine to the Russian market. In addition, the two presidents focused on the Transnistria settlement, mentioning the importance of resuming the talks on the issue.
