MP of PAS group, ACUM bloc, Vladimir Bolea, argues that the score obtained by the candidate Andrei Nastase in the second round of the elections for the capital’s mayoralty is not the one expected by the party. In the MP’s opinion, the message of the team that supported Andrei Năstase did not totally coincide with the voters’ expectations, IPN reports.

"The campaign was a very difficult one and I think we could not develop a message to tally with the expectations of voters in Chisinau. I refer to the voters’ more pragmatic attitude, because all of them wanted to hear a lot about sewerage, aqueduct systems, how to stop illegal constructions with political will, how to build pavements again. That is, in principle, what we want as residents, "said the MP on " Time of expertise " program, Jurnal TV.

In his opinion, the results of elections in Chisinau municipality were not influenced by the fact that, at national level, two parties with antagonistic visions form a coalition. "People are generally tired of politicians and politicians talking about nothing. And the fact that we made a coalition at national level had no negative effect”, declared Vladimir Bolea.

Socialist councillor in CMC Nicolae Pascaru says that it is now important for the ACUM bloc and PSRM to form majorities at local level so that things could change rapidly for the better. "It is important to bring people from abroad back home, but for this people must believe in government, believe in the state and see things changing," stressed Nicolae Pascaru.

Local councillor of ACUM bloc in Ungheni district council Gheorghe Petic believes that if a blockage is formed in the Chisinau municipal council, then any project submitted by the mayor will not be completed.

After yesterday's elections, November 3, the Socialist Ion Ceban won the position of Chisinau mayor with 52.39% of the votes. Andrei Nastase lost with 47.61% of the votes.
