Vlad Plahotniuc put in charge of PDM reform

Democratic Party vice president Vlad Plahotniuc was put in charge of the party's reformation, as decided at a meeting of the PDM Executive Political Council on Friday, Info-Prim Neo reports. The party's leader Marian Lupu spoke at the meeting about the need to reform PDM in the new context of political stability, which the Democratic Party sees as an opportunity to make real reforms with concrete benefits for Moldovans. “We understand that society expects a change for the better of the political class and we want to be the first to answer this call. PDM will be an example and send a signal to all politicians”, said Marian Lupu. A workgroup was created to develop the internal reform of the party and the Executive Council put Vlad Plahotniuc in charge of it. The party’s honorary president Dumitru Diacov will assist him. The PDM Executive Political Council decided that the reform proposals will be debated on May 11, at the meeting of the party's National Council.
