Vlad Filat will head Country Reintegration Commission

The Government has created a Country Reintegration Commission to coordinate state policies in this area, said Eugen Carpov, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The Commission will examine public administration’s proposals regarding the creation of conditions for the reintegration of the Transnistrian region in Moldova’s informational, social, political and cultural space. It will also monitor the social-political development of communities in this region.
Prime Minister Vlad Filat will head the Commission, while Deputy PM Eugen Carpov will be the deputy chairman. Vasile Magu, head of department in State Chancellery’s Bureau for Reintegration, was appointed secretary.
The Commission will include several Deputy Ministers, National Bank’s governor, the General Prosecutor, the SIS director, heads of the Customs Service and of the Border Guards, representatives of ministries and governmental agencies, the president of the Academy of Sciences, the Governor of Gagauzia, and Ion Solonenco, co-chairman on behalf of Moldova of the Unified Control Commission.
