The Government will propose solutions for solving the problems concerning the status of the National Opera House “Maria Biesu” (TNOB), the remuneration of the artists and other issues, acting Prime Minister Vlad Filat said in a meeting with a group of artists of the theater, IPN reports.
The artists said that the salaries are very low. The People’s Artists have pays of 2,300 lei. The artists expressed concerns about the institution’s management and pleaded for efficient cooperation with the Government so as to ensure the theater’s development.
Vlad Filat said the theater is one of the visiting cards of Moldova and the existing difficulties should be overcome. He announced he will make a visit to the TNOB in the near future so as to start dealing with the theater’s problems.
