Vlad Filat invites again Vladimir Voronin to public debate

The chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party Vlad Filat invited the leader of the Communists Party Vladimir Voronin to a public debate for the third time. The debate would take place at Leo Grand Hotel on November 26, starting at 20.00, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I was surprised that you turned down my invitation to take part in a joint public debate. I know you are a courageous man and expected that it will be you who will give an answer, not members of the party that you head,” says the letter addressed by Vlad Filat to the Communist leader. Vlad Filat says he understands that it is hard for the chairman of the PCRM to appear before the people to explain them why Moldova became the poorest country in Europe after eight years of Communist government. The Premier suggests sending the questions that will be put in the debate three days before it. “I hope that this way it will be easier for you to accept my invitation,” said Vlad Filat. Vladimir Voronin's answer will be waited until November 22 so as to have time to choose a moderator for the debate. Earlier, Vlad Filat invited Vladimir Voronin to a public debates two times – during a TV program and by a letter. The answer was given by the PCRM member Mark Tkachuk, who said the Communists Party does not have a common agenda with the PLDM.
