Vlad Filat congregates Vladimir Putin on election victory

Prime Minister Vlad Filat congratulated his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on the overwhelming victory he won in the March 4 presidential elections. He wished him health, prosperity and success in his work, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Government. The Premier expressed his conviction that the cooperation relations between Moldova and Russia, based on mutual respect, will develop dynamically for the benefit of the people of the two countries. Congratulation messages to Vladimir Putin were also sent by the leader of the Party of Communists Vladimir Voronin and the chairman of the Party of Socialists Igor Dodon. According to the preliminary results, Vladimir Putin won about 65% of the vote in Sunday’s elections.
