Renato Usatyi, the organization “Antifa” and other extremist organizations whose head offices were searched formed part of a project of the Russian intelligence services called “Moldova”, the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party Vlad Filat said in the program “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel, IPN reports.
According to the leader of the PLDM, the goal of this project was not to accumulate votes, but to destabilize the situation in Moldova and to obstruct the European course. “Judging by what happened, we see that it is not a game. It is a carefully planned scenario. Huge sums of dirty money were invested in this project “Moldova”. The underground world was also involved. I know that those who investigated this case were subject to unprecedented threats and corruption attempts. The investigations were actually launched in April. I consider we started to find out the truth about the ‘April 7’ events. The November 30 elections are not at all simple. These are a choice between to be or not to be,” he said.
Vlad Filat also said that the police are ready to cope with possible provocations. “During my tenure as Prime Minister, a lot was invested in equipping and training the police so that they could cope with mass disorders. These persons should have realized that the police will act promptly and harshly,” he stated.
Asked about the central electoral authority’s intention to remove “Patria” from the electoral race, Vlad Filat said the law must be obeyed. “The CEC was unable to take another decision. The law provides for the exclusion of parties from the electoral race for accepting financing from outside. Beyond effects, the observance of the legal norms is mandatory. I will personally make sure that the law is obeyed,” he stated.
